This blog is the result of a beginners project in a web design class. Since I set up this blog, I started another one that is more in line with why I’m taking this class. I’ve done a lot more work on the second blog and so far I am pretty happy with it. I have a lot more ideas for it though. You are welcome to check it out and give me your comments. A little more about me. Yes I love classical music. I played the viola for many years as a youth. Then took a 25+ year hiatus to finish college, start a family etc. This year I decided no more hiatus and joined the PA Symphony. Yes I’m rusty, but also improving my skills each time I practice. First concert was in December – 14 pieces of music – guess I jumped in with both feet! Next concert is Feb 7th. We are performing Stravinsky’s Petrouchka and Beethoven’s 7th Symphony. Both very challenging (especially Stravinsky). I always love a good challenge! Any other music lovers out there?
Congratulations on returning to your music after so many years! I played classical guitar back in high school, but gave it up. I still like classical music, however.

It’s always nice when you get to a place in life where you can return to what you love because you have the time and energy. You go girl! Nice blog too.
